Robin - I remember our last Christmas together as a family, and give thanks for your life and all the years we were married - not quite 24 years together - and the births of our six children. Andrew, our firstborn, has now joined you in that place of eternal life, and in our hearts and memories always; both of you. I especially remember Christmas night which is the day we met in 1961. Dear Robin -
It is 24 years almost to the exact moment (7.20 pm) that you died suddenly in hospital and we, your family, miss you very much and spend a lot of time talking about the happy days with you, always remembering you. Your struggle with your health was just too much at this time 24 years ago and you had to leave us; we believe that you are now rejoined with all your family who went before and with all other family members in a better place. We can't see you but you will never be far from us. We will never forget you, all the things you loved to do and all the enjoyment you got from life, all the things you taught us, as well as the difficulties you struggled to overcome right to the very end. You gave us a great example of bravery.
You are a Father and Husband to be proud of.

You live on in your sons, who are a credit to you Robin; you were the best father. Some of them are struggling just like you did at times, with your health, with life problems and difficulties, but they are all courageous enough to keep on, just like you did, and in the end they will all win through. I know they have your blessing always to make the very most of their lives, whatever fate may challenge them with over the years. You gave me the best gift of all, the experience of being the mother of your 5 sons and the surprise of our last baby - our daughter! All very much loved. I remember your special sense of humour, always caring and special.
We hope that since Andrew has joined you in the next life,that you have gone back to enjoying all the wonderful things together that you enjoyed here; nature, countryside, mountains, rivers and walking together. All our love and blessings - Christine x
